Greetings Friends! We wanted to provide our ardent supporters, friends, and volunteers with an update on the Moore Farm and Stonehouse conservation project. As you probably know, we've been working closely with Trust for Public Land to secure funding for the purchase of the house and farm on High Road. To date, we've been awarded a grant from the State of CT’s Open Space and Watershed Land Acquisition (OSWA) grant program, another grant from the CT Land Conservation Council, a state appropriation made possible through Senator Rick Lopes, a municipal allocation supported unanimously by our Town Council, and we currently expect to secure funding from the Highlands Conservation Act.

Thanks to your generous support, we've raised $215,000 of our $300,000 private goal. With your continued support, we'll be able to officially protect the property and open it up to the public by late-summer! A gift towards this project is a gift to the community, our environment, and future generations.
