Attracting Birds, Butterflies, Bees and Other Beneficials

An On-line presentation by Naturalist John Root Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 6:30 PM

Many of us would like to do something to improve the environment, but don’t know where to begin. Naturalist John Root has a suggestion: we can start in our own backyards.

He will explain how we can make our yards havens for wildlife, in an on-line presentation titled “Attracting Birds, Butterflies, Bees, and Other Beneficials”.

John will tell us about the important roles that pollinators play in our environment. He will teach us what we can do to meet their essential needs and help them thrive.

John will explain how we can use organic methods to create pollinator gardens and he will acquaint us with a variety of plants that provide food and shelter for birds and insects, in all phases of their lives.

This is a free presentation and all are welcome.

Please join us as we learn to make a better world for wildlife and for ourselves, a little at a time.
